Mason City Limits Comedy Club has an abbreviated summer schedule. We're thrilled to welcome a big guy special with three extra larger than life personalities Andy Leamon, Jeff Govednik and Joe The Animal Lancey.

Jeff has opened for everybody from Heywood Banks to Robin Trower. His constant stream of new, funny albeit twisted songs have entertain crowds for over 15 years.

Joe "The Animal" Lancey is a former animal control officer who adopted the nickname as a Gold Gloves Champion. Trading rabbit punches for punchlines, Joe is a multi-time finalist in Helium's Funniest in St. Louis Contest.

Andy Leamon is a Springfield based stand-up comedian and a rising member in the Central Illinois comedy scene. Known for his self-deprecating style, his jokes draw heavily from awkward experiences and lapses in judgement. Follow him at Bomb Squad Comedy on YouTube and Instagram

Kathy Brennan hosts this NERD Girl (Never Ever Really Dirty) Comedy Showcase featuring funny ladies from all over Illinois. Smart Women. Sharp Jokes. Adult themes without gross out comedy.

After retiring from state government, Kathy Brennan started hitting the comedy stage in the Springfield area with her funny and often ridiculous observations. Kathy was a finalist at Peoria's Jukebox Comedy Club's annual contest and was voted Illinois Times Best Local Comedian in 2022. While comedy clubs were shuttered by Covid, Kathy continued writing and performing on Zoom shows, leading to an appearance on the Flappers Comedy Club stage in Berkely, California in October 2021. Kathy's comedy presents a positive view of aging in which every challenging situation results in a win, if only in her nutty mind!
